Neuro-cognitive Mechanisms of Social Learning of Emotion
Humans are inherently social beings, thus enabling social learning through the observation and imitation of others, without the need for direct first-hand experiences. However, modulations in the perceptual representations of environmental targets during social learning have not been fully understood. In this research project, we mainly investigate the neurocognitive mechanisms underlying social learning leading to adaptive responses to environmental targets. This project also focuses on the circumstances under which social learning takes place.
